I came across an article on negotiation ethics that intrigued me because I am co-teaching ADR Ethics at USC Gould School of Law this semester.   Typically, before I discuss the topic of mediation ethics with my students, I delve into the topic of “negotiation ethics” in general.

The article, entitled “Negotiation Research Exa...

They survived an ghastly offensive first half and rode another strong defensive effort to capture a 107-100 victory over Chicago.

“It was a good thing we made a commitment to each other to be a top-10 defensive team,” coach Luke Walton said, “because we heavily relied on our defense again tonight.”

Posted by [email protected] on Comments comments (0)

On Tuesday, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors voted to expand the county’s Law Enforcement-Assisted Diversion (LEAD) program into new areas of LA County.

Through LEAD officers send people with mental health or substance abuse issues who have committed low-level crimes to community-based services, rather than incarcerating them.

Viaduct Sunset Series Puts L.A.’s History Centerstage

Posted by [email protected] on Comments comments (0)

People call this a young city, and in a way, they’re right. “L.A. is all about reinventing itself, and abolishing the history of the past,” Sean Woods of the California Parks Department tells me as we stand, sweating, beneath the Baker Street Viaduct. He continues, “What we’re trying to do is uncover it in new, exciting and en...
